Are people scared to admitt thwmselves to public why or why not?

A variety of reasons can cause fear of public speaking. One might be that they are afraid they might mess up and others will look poorly on that or laugh making them feel embarrassed Another reason might be that they are afraid to speak what they think about their opinion and others might also look down upon that. Of course everyone is different and some are more confident in themselves so they do not fear speaking to the public.
