I just replaced mine. You have to pull the motor to be able to remove the cam. Then take the cam with the new gear to a place that can press off the old gear and press on the new one. I suggest looking into a Haynes manual. Sometimes the library has them, online, I found one used for a few bucks, new they are $20. It gives step by step instructions, and all torque specks. Leave the engine in the car! The cam gear is made up of two parts the fiber outer and the metal inner. With a chisel crack the fiber part in half, Then torch along the keyway of the metal inner part. If you are good with a torch. You will not even need a new key. Now with the torch sweat the metal part of the new gear, slip it on,cool with water. DONE! GETERDONE!
