I'm gay but can't come out of the closet. I feel feel trapped. What do I do?

Well, there's a big difference if you are saying this at age 1 or 6 or 66. But a lot of people have been where you are and gone through what you are going through. There are books and websites where you can learn that you are not alone and find out what has been most helpful to others. If you have the courage at some point you might also find someone you can trust to mentor and advise you.

I don't know why you can't come out (assuming you are an adult), but I can promise you that it's not nearly as scary as you think it will be. If you are a minor, try to find a chapter of P-FLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays). They can help you deal with coming out to your parents.
