Could breaking your nose and cautiously positioning it to how you want it to look make a nose smaller or reduce the bump?

The healing process generally causes the nose to get larger, but even if it doesn't make it larger, you won't be able to make it smaller that way. You'll need to see a plastic surgeon for that one. It's expensive, but it's the only way.
