Swapped a 350 into a 87 Chevy that originally had a 305 do you need to change the ECM for a 350 or will it work?

might run lean? you could try it and check your plugs or if you hear pinging good sign running lean . if it is mass air set up should compensate for change if speed density will not and need to change ecm or get reflashed
