What size tail light bulb does a Subaru Forester use?

The owner's manual for my 2000 Forester says that the brake/tail lamp is an 1157. That is what you request at the auto parts store, but they probably have a listing if you want to confirm before you buy. You should check your owner's manual. As for size, it's about 1½" long. --Ken
