Z3 air conditioning problems Fan turns on intermittently. Does anyone know probable causes?

likely the blower motor resistor needs to be replaced. It is located in the engine bay under plastic cover located below the wipers. You will first need to remove the wipers then the plastic cover then the blower motor cover. resistor pack is located in the lower middle of the blower and is removed by sliding up. Cost of part is around $50
