How do you replace a 2005 Ford Escape headlamp assembly?

To replace the headlamp assembly on a 2005 Ford Escape, first, open the hood and disconnect the negative battery cable for safety. Remove the screws or bolts securing the headlamp assembly, usually located at the top and side, and gently pull the assembly out. Disconnect the wiring harness by pressing the release tab and then replace it with the new assembly, reconnecting the harness and securing it with the screws.
