However, diamond is an allotrope of carbon . Carbon is found in the Periodic Table. as 'C'.

NB Diamond, Graphite and Buckminster Fullerene (Footballene) are three allotrop[es of of Carbom . NOT isotopes.

An Allotrope is an element that exists in different physical form.
