What animal travels many miles in search for food?

The Arctic tern is known for its remarkable migration, traveling thousands of miles each year between its breeding grounds in the Arctic and its wintering areas in the Antarctic. This bird can cover over 70,000 kilometers (about 43,500 miles) annually in search of food, primarily small fish and marine invertebrates. Its long migratory journey makes it one of the animals with the longest migrations in the animal kingdom.
