Which country leaves shoes instead of stocking for santa to fill?

Holland- and the wooden shoes ( Bolzenboot_ or something like that) are used, in real life they are mainly folk custom and ceremonial , though would be watertight- many boats have wooden hulls- and look at the canals in the Netherlands.
