How do you transplants chives?

Depends on if you're transplanting a new plant or an old one. A new plant you can simply plant into the ground like any normal transplant (though I find it easier to just plant a seed). If you have a large plant already, and you want to split it, then simply dig it up, use a shovel to divide it into 2 or 4 pieces, and plant each one. Make sure to give it a good watering after doing so.
