Scorpions give birth to live young, a process known as ovoviviparity. After mating, the female carries the developing embryos in her body until they are fully formed. Once they are ready, she gives birth to a litter of juveniles, which often climb onto her back for protection and mobility until they molt for the first time. This maternal care helps increase their chances of survival in the wild.
