How do you make a butterfly stitch?

If you want to make the butterfly stitch real bad, I bet you've already googled up some tutorial sites, but they just don't work out. It's actually simpler than you can imagine. All you have to do is make loops into loops, just like the beginning of the tutorials. Then just keep on adding loops and loops inside them, but be careful, a common mistake (just like the kind I made when I'm doing this stitch) is that you have to do everything in a pattern. That means if you overlap and make a loop from under the loop, then you have to keep on doing that when you make other loops otherwise you won't have a pattern. sure if you understand the tutorials you can follow along that. but be careful not to make a mistake or you'll have to start all over!
