Why is codeine illegal?

Codeine is an opiate, one of many that're found in the opium plant. It gives you the feeling of..not caring about anything, just feeling totally great, total bliss, it's a lot weaker than its big brother heroin which is synthesized from morphine which comes from the opium poppy as well.

-It feels good

-Fairly easy to acquire

-High potential for abuse

If you're going to be experimenting with substances such as these unless you're able to acquire a source for pure codeine then I'd suggest performing an extraction on whatever pill you're getting it from, to reduce harm, most codeine pills contain paracetamol, caffeine, and or ibuprofen so a Cold Water Extraction is highly suggested
