Have found the fuse box under hood but there is not one in the glove box of my Mazda 3?

In some Mazda 3 models, the fuse box is located under the hood and in the cabin, but it may not be in the glove box. Typically, the cabin fuse box is found either on the driver's side near the dashboard or under the steering column. If you're unable to locate it, refer to your owner's manual for the exact location of the fuse box specific to your model year.
