Windows 2000 advantages and disadvantages

Windows 2000 offered several advantages, including improved stability and reliability over its predecessors, enhanced support for networking and security features, and better hardware compatibility. Its Active Directory feature allowed for centralized management of users and computers in a networked environment. However, disadvantages included its relatively high system requirements for the time, limited driver support for newer hardware, and the eventual phase-out of support, which made it less secure over time. Additionally, its user interface was less intuitive compared to later versions, which could hinder user adoption.
