Does an ias get a red beacon or a blue beacon car?

Red beacon allowed only for FOUR IAS officer these are :-

*CHIEF ELECTION COMMISSSINOR OF India

*CABINATE SECRETARY OF GOVERNMENT INDIA

*CHIEF ELECTION COMMISSINOR OF STATES

*CHIEF SECRETARY OF STATES

NOTE:- 1] below these IAS officer no other IAS officer like DM's, Special

secretaries ,commissinor's allowed to use red beacon they only

allowed to use yellow beacon but at present yellow beacon light is

stoped in using.

2] Important point is that no any IAS officer allow to use siren/flasher. sirens

are fitted on their vehicle only for escorting VVIPs.

I know about this because my father is also an IAS officer. he additional commissinor in transport department of Delhi Government
