What came first men or women?

Jehovah God created Adam first. (Genesis 2:7; 1 Timothy 2:13) Some time after, Jehovah decided that Adam shouldn't continue alone, so He created Eve to be a companion for him. (Genesis 2:18) He used Adam's rib to create her. (Genesis 2:21-22)
