Why do you think it is or isn't important to be aware of political events occurring in other countries?

It is very important because look at Europe and America. the American economy in the 'euro-zone' is on rough waters because of Greece. look t the rest of the world when America falls, 40% of world economy gone. So if china falls politically we might fall to and vice versa. plus its just good to be informed.
