How does the religion distinguish itself from others?

At John 13:34-35 Jesus says:

34 I am giving YOU a new commandment, that YOU love one another; just as I have loved YOU, that YOU also love one another. 35 By this all will know that YOU are my disciples, if YOU have love among yourselves."

So, a true religion would not encourage war or encourage their members to go to war. Also, a true religion would only go by what The Bible says.
