Does any one know of Miss vanda steer from millfield school who was a history teacher?

I knew Miss Steer 1990-1 She was the deputy Head of school and Head of Girls Boarding at St Georges Independent School. She was 34, prematurely grey, taught History, in my new school when I was but 15. she certainly changed lives there, back then, but not for the good....she aided and abetted a paedophille,- another addition newly to the girls boarding house carers- male teacher Rugby coach from Widdnes..... She knew, and yet she helped him cover his tracks, for what gain only she and the bacon Sandwiches she would make for him nightly knows.

British justice tried to prevail all the way to the St Albans Crown court. Miss Steer was found to have destroyed evidence. Literally wripped the legal pages outof the Boarding House registry to cover who worked when.... And though, then due to 'lack of evidence' she was dropped from prosecution, she was still sacked by the school for that behaviour. She was sacked, and I am glad.

She was a gifted Teacher, funny, clever, manipulative in her huffy spoken way. But she was also a Complicated character and a Monster

None of them were left unscarred. I am not afraid any more
