Is it safe to make acid rain at home with vinegar and water?

Yes! Just be careful and be sure to wear safety googles and gloves at all times. The acid could burn you. Suggestions for deminstration: show what it represents. For example, use a medicine dropper to apply it to plants. Watch what happens over the next couple of days-the plant starts to lose leaves and die. Why?
