A dream about a man who had no face?

Humans recognize one another by their faces. We also receive information about a person's personality, emotions, age, and even their health from the face. Faces tell us whether an individual is friendly or hostile, someone who might be helpful or someone who might be dangerous. That is why it is not generally acceptable for a person to be in public interacting with others while wearing a mask or a veil.

So when a person appears in a dream with no face, that person represents a mystery. There is a threat present; someone is not being honest. They are concealing what should be revealed. The dreamer may be confronting a situation that needs more investigation. No decision should be made "blindly."

Another possibility is that the faceless person might represent the dreamer. (As a rule of thumb, people representing the dreamer have the same gender.) The dreamer may have "lost face" by being humiliated or shamed. Or the subconscious might be expressing feelings of losing one's identity, for example, if one lost one's job or a position that defined oneself.
