If a boy smiles at you in that cheesy grin way and says hi and your name does it mean he likes you?

Not really. That can mean that he is slightly interested but it can also be that he is really friendly and like he wanted to smile. You can only know if he likes you if you ask him. If you have a realtionship than yes but maybe he's just being nice, but look for the signs! :)
