How do you disable the car alarm on an Acura legend?

"pull out the fuse" This is a great answer if you don't want to be able to start up the car again. When the integrated alarm system is going off it will not allow you to start your car or unlock the doors. A quick google search will tell you that many Acura Legend 91-93 models owners have had this same problem, among many others. Honda usually makes a good car but this is not one of them. Best advise is to not own one at all.

To answer this question, thou I cannot take credit for it, is to locate a gold color box under you drivers side dashboard, you'll have to take off the bottom half of the dashboard to get to it. Once you locate the the gold colored box you should see to wire harnesses attached to it, take both off. On the bigger of the two harnesses you'll find a black wire with a yellow stripe on it. You need to ground this wire and the car will function normally.

Also remember that anytime you're dealing with an electrical system of a car be sure to disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent any accidental shocks.
