What is the definition of a victimless crime?
It is a crime where there is no apparent victim and no apparent pain or injury. This class of crime usually involves only consenting adults in activities such as Prostitution, Sodomy, and Gamingwhere the acts are not public, no one is harmed, and no one complains of the activities.
Some groups advocate legalizing victimless crimes by removing these acts from the law books. Other critics complain that there is no such thing as a victimless crime; whenever one of these crimes is committed but goes unpunished, individual mores, societal values, and the Rule of Law are undermined or compromised, rendering society itself the victim.
Victimless crimes are acts defined by governments as illegal though they harm, at most, only the person committing them. This list is limited to those currently defined by an existing government as illegal:

- Drug Use - someone who is dependent on & participants in the use of a narcotic substance.
- Prostitution -the act of providing sexual services to another person in return for payment.
- Self-Defense- involves defending oneself, or another, or property from physical harm.
- Bearing Arms - the assertion that people have a personal right to firearms for individual use.
- Nudity - the act of being without clothing, nude or naked.
- Swearing/Profanity - vulgar or irreverent action, speech, etc .
- Drinking in Public - consuming Alcoholic Beverages in public.
- Euthanasia - (aka mercy killing) the actof putting to death painlessly or allowing to die.
- Driving without a seatbelt - operating a motor vehicle without wearing a seatbelt.
- Driving a Motorcycle without a Helmet - operating a motorcycle without wearing a helmet.
- Tax Evasion - the nonpayment of taxes.
- Jaywalking- to cross a street other than a regular crossing or in an illegal manner so as to be endangered by traffic.
- Gambling - to risk or bet (money) on the outcome of an event, sport, etc .
- Sodomy - anal or oral copulation with a consenting adult.
- Buying/selling/possession of sex toys.
- Blue law violations (e.g., selling beer or alcohol on Sunday morning).
- Ticket scalping - The practice of buying tickets to an event and reselling them for more than you paid for them.
- Vagrancy-the act or practice of wandering about from place to place
- Transporting a child unrestrained - operating a motor vehicle without a seatbelt on child.
- Statutory rape - sexual intercourse with a person who is below the age of consent as defined by law (14 yrs of age in some states).
