What would happen if all birds had the same beak?

many different species of bird would die- birds beaks have evolved to be specialized to the birds diet.

for example, a bald eagle would not be able to hunt and eat its prey with a ducks bill! subsequently, the bald eagle population would die out, as it would not be able to procure food for itself.
