What was Raul Castro known for?

Raul Castro is best known for being the brother of the Cuban communist dictator Fidel Castro. Raul served as Minister of Armed Forces from 1959 to 2008. In 2006, when Fidel became to sick to rule the country, Raul became temporarily President of the Council of State.
