What are good hooks and clinchers for a persuasive essay about legalizing pot as a prescribed drug?

(Asker Edit)I make points about doctors and other drug researchers stating that many people have benefited from the drug, how it benefits people w/ serious illnesses (glaucoma, AIDS, cancer, etc...), and how it is less toxic than most OTC drugs. [Please note, this is for school, I am not actually fond of the idea of weed getting legalized.]
