What are the negative effects of divorce on adolescents?

well i can give you a pretty good answer here on divorce as when i was much younger- around 7 infact- my parents split due to cheating and the effect came crashing down on me and my sister. My dad went away for 6 months and we didn't see him at all. My grandmother and mother now cannot stand to be in the same room with each other but i have to say my parents are fine now, still not back together though.... the worst thing is that my elder sister trid t commit suicide and i was bullied and told i didn't have a proper family... but not all divores happen lke that. i am sorry i cannot answer the 'adolescents' as i do not know what that means.
