What is end noting?

End noting is a referencing style used in academic writing where all citations are listed at the end of a document, typically after the main text and before any appendices. This allows readers to find source information without interrupting the flow of the text. Endnotes are often used to provide additional commentary or clarification and can include sources that supplement the main argument. Unlike footnotes, which appear at the bottom of each page, endnotes consolidate all references in one location.
