What was Hermes realm?

Hermes was the messenger of the gods and, for the spirits of the dead, a guide to the Underworld. Besides this, he was the patron of boundaries and those who traveled across them, of shepherds and cowherds, of the cunning of liars and thieves, of orators and wit, of literature and poets, of athletics and sports, of weights and measures, of invention, and of commerce in general.
