There are NO bridges connecting England to Wales. There is a common land boarder.
However, within Wales, there are the Menai Bridge, Britannia Bridge, Pont y Cysyllte Bridge (Yes the spelling), Queensferry Bridge, and now dismantled the Transporter Bridge at Newport, Monmouthshire. There numerous other bridges too!!!!
NB THe Pont y Cysyllte Bridge is an aqueduct for barge traffic over the River Dee. It is an extension to the Llangollen Canal. It is basically a metal trough of water for barges to float across. It can be walked across, but cannot carry any other form of transport. It is a unique piece of civil engineering by Thos. Telford. It was built approximately 200 years ago, on high stone piers , and at it height is approximetly 150 ft ( 50 metres) above the River Dee.
