Two possible answers:
1. Cubic feet is a volume measure; square yard is an area measure. The two are incompatible.
2. Having said that, if you attach a third dimension to your square yard, the volume in cubic feet would be nine (3 feet in a yard times 3 feet in a yard to get 1 square yard) times the height of your stack, enclosure or whatever.

sq feet in sq yard = 3 x 3 = 9
