Why is Earth the home of mankind?

Earth is the home of mankind because we evolved here from earlier primates, which in turn evolved from other mammals in a chain that goes back to the first living cells on the planet. Having evolved here we are well-suited for conditions on Earth but nowhere else in the solar system. Perhaps, somewhere there is a planet or moon that could support human life, but we have not found it yet and will probably never reach it.
