What does misogamy?

Misogamy is the aversion to or hatred of marriage. It can stem from personal experiences, societal observations, or cultural beliefs that lead individuals to view marriage negatively. This term is often used to describe those who prefer to remain single or who reject the idea of traditional marital relationships. Misogamy should not be confused with misandry, which is the hatred of men, as it specifically pertains to the institution of marriage itself.
