Is it sinful to look at your girlfriend while naked?

A. From Christian point of view:

"But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." (Matthew 5:28)

Ans 1: The acid test for if an action is a sin or not is your own heart and what the holy spirit tells you about the situation. Jesus gives us the rule of loving each other. Is it loving and respectful to see your girlfriend naked? Would her parents be hurt if they knew? So, what are the implications of you seeing your girlfriend naked? You could end up having lustful thoughts about her, that would be a sin. You may not be the one to marry her and her husband to be might be hurt by you having seen her naked. We are asked not to cause our weaker brother to stumble. Hurting him would be a sin. You might accidentally see you girlfriend naked after a strange accident with a swimming pool filter and bikini - This would not be your fault you might even you help her cover up, but you could still sin in lusting after her! The great thing is that you are asking questions about what is sin, all sin is covered by Jesus' death and we are all trying our best to clean our acts up and be more like Jesus. Sexual sins are probably the hardest for most of us, in The Bible no-one could find themselves sinless enough to stone a woman who had committed sexual sins. God gave us marriage to help contain our God given urges, so I pray that you may find your wife soon. Good luck on your journey.

Ans 2: Well according to the bible no. but it depends on your personal beliefs. You should feel comfortable with that decision and make sure you wont regret it

Ans 3: Looking at your girlfriend naked is not a sin, lusting after your girlfriend is. To love is one of God's desires, but to want personal pleasure is a temptation of the devil.

The Bible teaches us to care for each other, and in caring for each other your personal pleasure should be last on your list. Temptation is a great tool of the devil. He will you ridicule and even Bible scripture to attempt to 'trick' you into doing things that are against God, (immoral).

An important thing to remember is what I overheard two girls saying in school. The first girl, (keeping names secret) Sarah (15) and the second girl, Destiny (14).

Sarah was talking to Destiny about going to a party on Friday, she explained that many juniors and seniors would be there. Destiny didn't think she wanted to go due to people drinking and 'other' things. Sarah asked her if she was a 'still' a virgin. Destiny got nervous... Sarah laughed and said Sex is Great, you should try it! Destiny said she would rather wait. Sarah said your stupid, you don't know what your missing. It feels incredible! Destiny said again I would rather wait until I meet my sole mate and we are married. Sarah laughed and said Destiny you don't know until you try it. Bobby will be there and he likes you. You will never have a boyfriend without having sex. To this Destiny said; Sarah, I can be like you any time I want. I can have sex whenever I decide... But you can never again be like me. To that Sarah huffed and walked away.

I was proud of Destiny, because I knew she cared more about what she thought of herself then what others thought of her. Remember: Doing what is right is not always easy, but doing what is easy is usually never right!
