Another opinionDiet Coke has 0 calories because it is sweetened not by sugar but by Aspartame, an artificial sweetener. In my opinion you should try to limit the intake of either, but I tend to think the regular Coke is a better option in the long run as long as you don't overdo it and keep a healthy lifestyle. Aspartame is a new thing created in a lab. We think we know a whole lot about it but we still have a hard time figuring out why certain diseases are growing so rapidly and I'd rather not be a guinea pig for a product big business created to give people "peace of mind."
Another opinionOne has chemicals that are potentially harmful (in multiple ways, not just carcinogenic). The other has a lot of sugar, and most people get far too much sugar anyway. My advice is to drink water. Need carbonation? Drink seltzer water. Need caffeine? Coffee.
