What guitar plays chords?

You can't, really. Music is the progression and contrast of different sounds and the way they affect your ear. If you only play one chord, there's not contrast or progression. Listen to the last few minutes of Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf. They jam on one chord endlessly and it's f**king boring.
