How did cronus use his powers?

Cronus, a Titan in Greek mythology, used his powers to overthrow his father, Uranus, and seize control of the cosmos. He wielded a sickle, gifted by Gaia, to castrate Uranus, which allowed him to become the ruler of the Titans. However, fearing a prophecy that one of his own children would dethrone him, Cronus devoured each of his offspring at birth. Ultimately, he was overthrown by his youngest son, Zeus, who escaped his fate and led a rebellion against him.
