Where is the hood release on a 2008 Toyota Avalon?

The hood release for a 2008 Toyota Avalon is located inside the vehicle, on the driver's side. You will find it on the lower left side of the dashboard, near the door. It typically has a lever that you pull to release the hood latch. After pulling the lever, you can then go to the front of the car and lift the hood, using the prop rod to secure it if needed.
