What are the numbers in the paintball harness?

Say you have a 3+2+2 pod pack. The first number means that there are 3 main pod compartments. The second number usually means the number of loops you have on top of the main compartments. The loop is a piece of material to hold more pods, but aren't as secure at the main pockets. These are usually in between two of the main pod compartments. And lastly, the third number is the number of loops found on the side.
