Cause of the age of exploration discovery?

Since the Seljuk Turks conquered the eastern region of the Meditteranean Sea, it gave them control over the trade routes to Asia. Which causes the closure of these trade routes and urges the Westerners to look for new ways to get to Asia. And "exploring" counts for the name of this AGE.
