Who formulated the law of gravaty?

The law of gravity was formulated by Sir Isaac newton in the 17th century. He proposed that every mass attracts every other mass with a force that is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers. This principle was described in his seminal work, "Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica," published in 1687. Newton's law of universal gravitation laid the groundwork for classical mechanics and significantly advanced our understanding of celestial motion.
