Kids often get red in the face after running a lot due to increased blood flow to the skin as their bodies work to regulate temperature. When they exercise, their heart rate rises, pumping more blood to the muscles and skin, which can cause flushing. Additionally, their bodies may not yet be as efficient at cooling down through sweating, leading to a more noticeable reddening of the face. This is a normal physiological response to physical exertion.
