That depends. If you've just done it, and it's all wonky, then you just have to take it out. On the other hand, which is probably what you're looking for, if it's been left in a while, but you haven't left it in for at the most 7 weeks, I'd say, just take the earring out, use cotton wool dipped into warm water to get out all the puss and stuff in the hole, and you should try to use salt water (warm), every day, until the hole has closed up. This is a natural anti-bacterial. Once it's closed up, but
it doesn't need to have fully healed, and the dot to have disappeared, your own body should handle things. If in the unlikely case
that this doesn't seem to work, you should
consult a professional at a licensed tatoo
parlour for advice. Remember: the salt water
might hurt, but it probably will. That's good. It means it's destroying all the bacteria in there. If it doesn't, it's still working, it's just your lucky day:)
If it's been just over 7 weeks, the above should work. If it's been a pretty long time, them try what I've said, an if it doesn't work, again, just try contact a professional parlour for advice.
Hope this helped:)
