The p0507 code is...IAC (Idle Air Control) system rpm higher than expected...Ask yourself, does it idle higher than normal? If so,remove the IAC. Its on the very front of the throttle body.2.4L DOHC Engine...It has 4 wires and the top of the plugin is square.Unplug and remove the 2 screws and pull strait out while wiggling and twisting back and forth.Clean it & the housing it came out of with some carb. cleaner to remove any carbon deposits. To test it,using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance across terminals A & B, then C & D. Each check should indicate 40 to 80 ohms. If not, replace the IAC. You can find out more with a repair manual or go to autozone.com and click Repair Info, then click Repair Manuals.
