Where is 1 located on the distributor cap for a 1993 305 caprice?

Firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. Distributor rotates clockwise. Number 1 cylinder is front of engine driver's side. Remove all the spark plugs and disconnect the coil wire, and turn the engine by hand until the #1 piston is at Top Dead Center, (TDC) on the compression stroke. Remove the distributor cap and look at the rotor. It will be pointing to the # 1 plug position. The next plug will be # 8 going clockwise, and so on.
