Who designed the Kremlin?

The site has been continuously inhabited from the 2nd century BC, Grand Prince Ivan lll

(1462-1505) organised the reconstruction of the Kremlin taking skilled architects from Italy. The walls, as they appear now, were built between 1485 and 1495. Kremlin means 'fortress inside a city'
